This year's Lash Battle competition will take place in Glasgow, Scotland and looks as though it will be the biggest one yet - with more judges and extra nominations! With an ever-growing enthusiasm for the once niche industry, there has never been a better time to bring the most talented lash artists from around the world to Scotland to compete!
Lash Battle was created by London Lash founder Hanna Putjato, who has been a recognised and celebrated figure in the eyelash extensions community for many years, and is arguably known best for her love of the Russian Volume eyelash extension technique, which she was one of the first to teach in the UK. Over the past few years, Hanna has judged at numerous lash competitions, so was able to bring her knowledge and experience to her own event.
Over the past few years, Lash Battle welcomed highly esteemed judges from all around the world, who saw some amazing work from more than 500 talented eyelash technicians from 50 countries around the world! An online nomination was introduced so that those lash artists who were unable to travel to London could still showcase their skills! To make it even more fun for our judges, the online nomination has a fantasy theme, which tests not only the artists' technical skills, but also their artistic creativity!

As with any competition, not everyone can win a trophy, but lash competitions are about more than just winning! Lash artists have a rare opportunity to meet and network with other artists from all over the world, they get priceless feedback from some of the world's most highly esteemed judges which can have a huge impact on the future of their career, and they each receive a goody bag full of lash supplies!
Lash Battle 2018 will take place from the 14th-16th August in Glasgow.
